Case: Boitier un peu polie mais qui garde encore des chanfreins un peu arrondis mais présents, bel état général. Numéros de série et référence parfaitement lisible.

Dial: Rare gilt called ” Bart Simpson” en bel état, texture encore glossy légèrement piqué mais non spider , swiss t 25 bien patiné d’origine qui réagis aux UV et les aiguilles qui matchent bien.

A tracking number will be given to you after collection of the package. Guarantee : All watches are guaranteed for 6 months for normal use. For vintage watches that are not waterproof, there is no guarantee of water resistance. In the caseof a water resistance problem linked to the non-screwing of the crown, the warranty is also void. In the case of shocks to the watch, the warranty is void. Normal use only qualifies for the 6-month warranty.

Our opinion: La Réf. 5513 est arrivé sur le marché en 1962, environ trois ans après la Réf. 5512. En un mot, les deux montres sont exactement les mêmes, sauf que l’une a un mouvement chronomètre et l’autre non. Bien sûr, étant Rolex, les choses sont un peu plus nuancées que cela. Quoi qu’il en soit, c’était une décision marketing intelligente de la part de Rolex, car elle leur permettait de positionner la Réf. 5512 comme l’option la plus premium des deux. Cela a ensuite ouvert le marché à ceux qui voulaient une Rolex Submariner mais ne voulaient pas nécessairement payer un supplément pour un mouvement chronomètre. Et en fait, la Réf. 5513 utilisait le même calibre que celui trouvé dans la première Réf. 5512s – calibre 1530. Plusieurs variantes de cette référence existe avec les cadrans gilt ou laqué puis les cadrans explorer très rare ou encore les versions militaires et comex, c’est la référence la plus mythique de chez Rolex produite de 1962 a 1989. Celle-ci a un cadran laqué assez recherchée avec une couronne un peu tordue called” batt simpson” part sa forme spécifique. Son cadran a des beaux index tritium encore luminescent en bel état, il est légèrement piqué mais garde un bel effet glossy mirror. Une belle pièce rare produites uniquement en 1966 avec son bel insert fat font bien patiné.
