Boîte : Boîtier très bien conservé, présentant une géométrie cohérente et des volumes homogènes. Les cornes conservent une bonne épaisseur avec des angles encore bien définis. La montre présente une usure régulière et cohérente avec l’âge, sans choc majeur ni perte de matière significative.
Dial: Cadran silver Big Red d’origine avec tous ses points de tritium présents. La patine est homogène sur l’ensemble des index. Les aiguilles sont d’origine et présentent un tritium parfaitement matching avec celui du cadran. Sous-compteurs noirs bien contrastés, typographie conforme à la période de production.
Diameter : 37 mm
Bracelet : Bracelet Oyster acier réf 78350 avec endlinks 571. Ensemble cohérent avec la montre, en bon état général.

Our opinion: Le modèle Rolex Cosmograph Daytona est un chronographe de sport lancé en 1963 par la société Rolex SA. Le Cosmograph Daytona fait partie de la catégorie des montres professionnelles de la gamme Rolex et a été conçu à l’origine pour les pilotes de course automobile. Quatre générations de Daytona ont vu le jour respectivement en 1963, 1988, 2000 et 2016. La première génération est équipée d’un mouvement à remontage manuel, la seconde d’un mouvement automatique et les troisième et quatrième d’un mouvement manufacture Rolex.
Les références à quatre chiffres constituent la base historique et la plus recherchée de la collection Daytona. Cet exemplaire de référence 6263 datant de 1985 présente une configuration cohérente avec cadran Silver Big Red d’origine, tritium complet et homogène, aiguilles matching, lunette bakélite conforme et mouvement Valjoux 727.
