Description
Our opinion: The explorer ref 1016 appeared in the 60s, different versions were produced, matte, gilt, white dial... A real collector's reference so difficult to find today. This one has a nice patina. The case is in perfect condition, its rare matte MK1 frog foot dial is just as perfect, matching the hands well! The watch is mounted on an armored bracelet and is part of the very first series produced in 1969 very sought after !!!! So rare to find today that they are now worth more than the Submariner!
