Case: Beautiful case, still thick and with angles still clearly present and chamfers perfectly visible. Glasses in perfect condition. Original fat font MK3 insert. No visible shocks. The watch has been perfectly preserved over time and remains beautiful and consistent.
Dial: Beautiful original dial VERY RARE meter first zinc sulphite dial with a very beautiful homogeneous patina. This is the very first version of a matte dial just after the Gilt, Rolex continued for a very short time to use zinc sulphite to fill the indexes and hands of the first mat meter firsts and this is one of them, very rare in this condition, very nice overall set. Dial in perfect condition with no defects. The hands perfectly match the patina of the indexes.

Our opinion: Un très beau et rare exemplaire de la Submariner vintage référence 5513 ,meter first au zinc sulfite, toute première exécution de ce cadran mat devenu mythique , très beau cadran avec une belle patine homogène et très réactive aux UV, bracelet acier riveté et mouvement en parfait état de fonctionnement. La montre est en parfait état peu polie mais de manière générale très bien entretenue. Aiguilles et cadrans matching couleur jaune très recherchée. Très bel insert MK3 serif.
